Life List

On the eve of my 40th birthday, I finally decided to commit to a life list of things I aspire to. I’d been puttering around with one over the last couple years.  When I pulled out that draft, it made me smile to realize I’d been making my way through many of them already.

Doing things like taking my kids to Disney World and running a half marathon. It was fun to cross them off and add new things.  I look forward to continuing to do that!

And for anyone curious, I call it our list because it doesn’t just belong to me. Most of them are mine and things I aspire to.  But it’s also my husband’s list.   Even though he lived a whole lifetime of adventures before he met me, he looks forward to doing them again with me.   He's the big lug with the soft caramel center. Wouldn’t trade him. Wouldn’t and couldn’t.
