Proud parenting moments

Nothing makes you quite as proud as a mother as dropping your one year old off at daycare and getting a call two hours later that he has 102 degree fever. Remember how you commented as you left that he hadn't quite been himself all morning? Right. Yeah. That's called fever, stupid. Come get your kid.

I have done similar. I think its like when we are in denial that we are coming down with something. We do the same with the kiddos. Don't feel bad, you've got your baby at home with you now!

Don't feel bad...you never know. Sometimes kids act weird and nothing is wrong with them. Other times they're really sick and playing like normal!

Been there. Don't feel too bad.

Hope he's better really soon!

Thanks. A dose of tylenol and he's vastly improved. We think maybe he's teething. And yeah, my son is really good at acting like nothing is wrong and then suddenly have some illness.

Oh I have been there. It makes me feel like Brittny Spears every time I dont intuitively know that at 10:27am one of my kids will suddenly develop a fever of 102 at daycare, and I will be out of reach in a meeting.

I love you blog. I am still not sure how I got here but I am glad I did. Who (you?) designed the template? Very minimalist and cool.

Feeling like Britney Spears is a good way of putting it. And I actually designed the template of my blog myself. I was going for simple and uncluttered so it's nice to know I may have succeeded in achieving that. Thanks.
