It's done. All 759 pages.

I finished Harry Potter last night at 1 am. My husband is very glad. He looks forward to plying me with Ambien and sacking out early tonight. I'm looking forward to annoying him with several episodes of Bridezillas that I've got stored up on my DVR.

I liked the last Harry Potter book. A lot. But I probably won't write much more about it here. At least not for awhile. Accidentally spoiling it for anyone else would make me feel too guilty. Not too guilty to live to see another day. Just too guilty to not inhale a box of Milk Duds or something. And quite frankly, I don't need any help packing away Milk Duds. So I'll just suffice to say that I liked it. A lot. And anyone that finishes it and wants to chat can feel free to email me.

I finished the book at 1am this morning as well. I am very satisfied with how it all played out and am rather sad that it's all done. The beauty of it all is that I now get to start all over again with number one.

I think I'll like the book in retrospect, but right now, I'm a bit unsatisfied. I wrote a long post about it, but to sum up, I felt I needed more. Or maybe I was just expecting too much? :)

I just wanna know how on earth you mangaged to do that w/kids! Were you reading in the middle of the night.

I've been trying to read a 400 page book for about the last 4 months now *sigh*

I am a fast reader. Especially when it's a good book. I read sitting on the floor next to the kids while they played, sitting on the toilet while they took a bath, while my husband was playing with them and after they went to bed. After they went to bed was most of it. Plenty of times I've had a book sit on the nightstand for several months too. You're not alone! I swear! Memoirs of a Geisha took me 6 months to finish. Which is sad because I ended up loving Memoirs of a Geisha.
