I hope by "we" he means "me"
My husband has just returned from a two week trip. It's like the trillionth trip this year and this time it even fell smack in the middle of the most uber busy 4 days I think I've ever had at work. Last weekend as I recounted for him my relaxing day of dropping the kids off at my dad's so I could go home and clean, he said encouragingly, "We'll do something fun next weekend." Um. Fun, yes. We, not so much. I think what he meant to say was, I'll take care of everything while you go do something that doesn't involve sticky fingers or stinky diapers. Come home when you feel human. I'll have dinner on the table and the eight loads of laundry done. And folded. And put away. Love you.

I'm sure that is what he meant to say ;P
Or at least, what will be happening, right?
My husband and I always ask each other: Is this a me/we, a you/we, or a we/we? It is best to clarify since there are so many "we's" in marriage! Ha!
That's what I heard him saying. ;)
Seriously, I know this must be really, really hard for you. Keep hanging in there.
Ugh -- another two week stint? You deserve a purple heart!
Print your post out, ask him to read it out loud and then yell, "Thanks, don't mind if I do!" as you bolt for the door ;)
How you doin' over there? You hangin in there?
